Light vs. Darkness

Darkness cannot exist in the presence of light.

This is a very powerful and very true statement, and I have decided to apply the truth behind this statement to my everyday life as I strive to become the best version of myself. It is very interesting to me that from a scientific perspective, it is absolutely impossible for darkness to exist in the presence of light.

For me, when I apply that concept metaphorically to my daily life, it makes sense to me that if I had a positive attitude and focused my energy in an effort to do good, I would have a lot of power and control towards achieving my goals and supporting my pursuit for happiness. It makes sense to focus on the fact that light overpowers darkness, and the darkness has no choice but to give in to the light. Because of this sense of power, I have chosen and continue to choose the light and represent myself in that way, and hopefully influence others to do the same.

By adopting this methodology, I strongly believe that it would give you more of a sense of personal strength and courage to go after your dreams because you would be surrounding yourself in a circle of light that no one could break with their negativity.
